Are the good times finally back? After a difficult few years, it looks like we finally have some good news to celebrate with the release of the annual Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the fastest growing tech companies in Britain.
The ranking assesses revenue growth across the past four years and gives an overall picture of growth in Britain’s technology sector. This year’s top 50 companies have boomed, with an revenue average growth rate of 1,883%. WorldRemit, a peer-to-peer money transfer service, and sponsors of our Connected video series, topped the list with 20,385% revenue growth over the same period.
Almost 8,000 people are now employed by the Fast 50 companies, which generated over £800m of total revenue in the last financial year.
