The word “work” is key here – this is a series of networking and business events.
However this year there are some family-friendly highlights including a concert by Hans Zimmer, the composer behind Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lion King and Gladiator, and there’s a Drone Racing League – the chance to watch the world’s top racers battle it out at Alexandra Palace.
Where are all the events?
Literally in every corner of the city. Plan your diary carefully to get the most of out of it.

Lots of big brands. Google, Amazon, the works.
The good?
London Technology Week gets a lot of attention from outside the UK. If you’re looking for investment or partnerships, this is the place to get business done.
And the bad?
In previous years, the quality of events has varied massively. Just like the Edinburgh Fringe, most are independently run but sit under the banner of Tech Week.
Most are genuinely worthwhile. But some are little more than a sales pitch with free networking drinks attached.
Weigh up each listing with caution, make smart choices, and don’t be afraid to bail and move on to another event.
Which events do I need to be at?
The coolest things happen behind closed doors and might not be found in the official listings. Don’t be afraid to ask around and keep a careful eye on Twitter.
If you can get your hands on a ticket, The Europas is well worth attending.

This event will test your tech skills in an afternoon of fun programming challenges with Cubetto, the coding toy from Primo Toys.
