Introducing: WP Engine

WP Engine was founded in Austin, Texas, in 2010 by serial entrepreneur, Jason Cohen. He wanted an opportunity to prove that his success was not due to luck or survivor bias after his previous ventures proved a success.

The idea was to create a WordPress provider up to the demands of the modern day, faster, more secure and more scalable than the competition, with a focus on exceptional customer service.

Five years on and the company has grown to nearly 350 employees, and the spread of its presence is increasingly global, with offices in San Francisco, San Antonio and London and 40,000 customers around the world.

When The Memo was launching back in April 2015, we partnered with WP Engine to built a platform worthy of today’s demanding readers.

With the support and flexibility offered by WP Engine our launch couldn’t have run more smoothly. It doesn’t hurt that they have a local presence, based at Second Home in London.

With WP Engine powering The Memo, we’re ready for the future.
