Back in 2010, TechHub was a pioneering new workspace for the growing numbers of tech startups on the fringes of the City of London. Just 5 years later the company has transformed itself into one of the largest communities of tech companies in the UK and beyond.
Under the leadership of co-founder and CEO Elizabeth Varley, the group has expanded across Europe and more recently India. “Technology is everywhere, entrepreneurs can find customers for their products anywhere, so TechHub has always aimed to help startups go global” Varley told The Memo.
Today TechHub announced a new chapter in its history with an expanded partnership with Google for Entrepreneurs, a programme for small businesses. TechHub’s 600 member companies will receive mentorship, access to pitch events and financial support in the UK and across Google’s worldwide network.
Commenting on the news, Varley told The Memo:
“Having an amazing team who give their all in the pursuit of our shared vision is just a complete joy and one I feel so grateful for.
Watching entrepreneurs build and grow their businesses and create huge successes, and to get to see that right up close, is a real privilege.”
