Every month at The Memo we drill down on one topic you need to care about.

From February’s focus on love and dating, March on finance, April on marketing and future themes including fitness and travel, we introduce you to the must-know trends and the people behind them.

Food & drink special report

June is going to be an indulgent feast featuring the best in food & drink.

That’s because, no matter how busy we get, we won’t compromise on the food on our plates.

At the heart of the food revolution lies our smartphones. We want exciting new tastes and we want them fast, preferably delivered to our door in minutes with services like Just Eat and Deliveroo. There are even new services to help our unwanted food to go further.

We’re going to bring you the latest trends, telling you how to get restaurant quality food posted to your home, and how skip the queues when you buy your next round at the pub.

And we’ll be keeping you in the know about some of the best upcoming foodie events – have you seen the tasty lineup at Cheltenham Science Festival?

With summer around the corner, drinks will also play a starring role.

We’re already excited by the new generation of mixologists like Shaken’s Mark Jennings taking over London’s drink scene. We’ll introduce you to this season’s must-try cocktails and tell how to get them delivered to your door.

The truth about superfoods

And we’ll be dispelling some myths – like how 99% of us need to stop worrying about gluten. Food fanatics – it’s time to get your breadmaker out again and fall back in love with baking.

We’ll be looking to the future with food futurologists like Bompas and Parr, whose playful creations include steak cooked by lava and rooms made entirely out of chocolate.

There’s even 3D-printed treats on the cards.
